The Canada-born Indian actor seems to have loved her first experience with the mad world of Indian entertainment, and that’s why she will return to Bollywood with bigger and better plans, she says. We spoke to Jism2 hottie Sunny Leone just a few hours before she took off to the city she calls home, Los Angeles.
Ever since the release of the much-awaited erotic thriller Jism 2, the Canada-born adult star’s been traversing the length and breadth of the country for a first-hand experience of people’s reactions in cinema halls to her first Bollywood film. And Sunny Leone seems to be enjoying all the eyeballs and ears that are watching and listening to her every breath.
We managed to catch the leading lady of Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2 just a few hours before she took a flight back to the US. Sunny’s enthusiasm is palpable as she talks about the city screenings tour. “It’s really exciting when you see the benefits of your hard work, and you know that people have spent their hard-earned money on a ticket for your movie. It’s the best feeling. The response has been nothing but amazing!”However, reviews and trade reports haven’t been too positive for the erotic thriller. What does the hot-bod have to say to that? “Well, I am not sure what they were disappointed in,” said Sunny. “As far as my fans go, I feel better that they have gone and supported me. That’s all about I can ask for. I spoke to so many fans who bought a ticket more than once to watch the film. I guess each person has their own prerogative.”
So far it’s been a joyous journey for the adult star, from Bigg Boss 5 contestant to Hindi film actor. Did she really say ‘yes’ to Pooja Bhatt’s erotic thriller in order to launch her career in B-town? After all, she is already a successful star in her own field, we know. “I know that I have this hardcore Sunny Leone brand and people supported me by watching my film. That’s what I wanted (from Jism 2).”
Even before her first Hindi production released, Sunny had signed Ragini MMS 2
for Balaji’s Alt Entertainment. Does that mean the adult star is
serious about a lasting career in Bollywood? “Yes! I have two or three
movies in the pipeline that will keep me busy for the next three years,
so I am only grateful, thankful and happy that people watched the first –
Jism 2. I know I was just being myself and not ‘different’ in
the film. So I have to work on and improve a lot of things as an actor
in Bollywood. It’s a stepping stone to doing better things. I am looking
forward to going home (Los Angeles) and taking Hindi lessons, going for
dance lessons and watching Bollywood movies. I am going to be eating,
living and breathing Bollywood!”But isn’t managing a Hindi film career from Los Angeles impractical? Sunny revealed that that’s not her plan. She explained, “Hopefully on my next visit I find a place, even if it’s temporary. I don’t want to travel with six suitcases every single time I come here. It’ll be nice to have a place that I can call home here.”
That’s not all. The adult star intends to go the whole hog to have a successful career in Bollywood. When asked about whether she will dub her own dialogues in her next movie (for Jism 2, Sunny’s lines were dubbed by someone else), she clarified: “Yes, in the next movie they are going to use my voice for some of the scenes, but maybe not all. But because we start shooting for this film in January, there’s going to be a lot of workshops and prepping time. Balaji is not a small production house; it’s a big one. And I am trying to fulfill my end of the bargain as well as I can.”
While the critics weren’t too impressed with Jism 2, the adult star seems to believe that her fans think she fulfilled her side of the deal (to bring oomph and aah to the erotic thriller) with her very first film. All we can do now is wait to watch if she moves beyond the bedroom drama for a real B-town career.

Sunny Leone declared in a recent interview that Bollywood is more
lucrative than the porn industry. In fact, she confessed that she’s
quite happy with the kind of money she is being paid in B-town. She
burst all kind of myths that a porn star literally rakes in huge
moolah. Leone has been a part of the porn world for years now and her
stint with Bollywood has just started, but seems
like the babe is in awe of the way the Bollywood industry operates.
She’s glad that B-town is rewarding her hard work in a much better way.Just when we thought Sunny is done doling out precious pearls of wisdom, she went on to explain how the porn and the Bollywood world are similar in a lot of ways. According to the Jism 2 babe, she and her husband, who also happens to be her manager, hire porn stars who know how to convey emotions onscreen, which is obviously also the case with Bollywood.

Naturally, the pornstar was absolutely dumbstruck. She was not prepared for it at all! We hear that there was a lack of communication on Pooja’s part.
It so happened that after wrapping up her shoot for Jism 2 in Sri Lanka Sunny boarded a flight back to India, that’s when Pooja got this crazy idea of auctioning in her whimsical head. Pooja went on to announce it without informing Sunny. “It sucks I didn’t know (about the auction). I don’t really know anything about it. I’m not personally selling any worn clothes from Jism 2. If the Jism 2 company is selling them for charity then it’s an amazing thing. Hopefully all the money is going to a good charity,” said the Canadian import on a micro blogging site.

RAGINI MMS, which was one of the most talked about sleeper hits of 2011, has just gotten bigger and bolder.
Sunny Leone seems to be cementing her position in Bollywood, as Ekta
Kapoor's Alt Entertainment [which recently produced 'The Dirty Picture']
has signed her for the sequel of this keenly awaited thrill-and-steam
fest.
The LA-based adult star will commence shooting for RAGINI MMS 2 this year after completing Pooja Bhatt's JISM-2.
While the original rumoredly revolved around the video footage of a
girl from Delhi, the sequel is believed to be inspired by a real-life
story as well. However, the scale of the sequel, which is bigger than
the first, promises to be more scary and sexy.
Confirms Tanuj Garg, CEO - Balaji Motion Pictures, "We're glad to
have Sunny on board and look forward to working with her. The rest of
the cast and script are being worked on and will be announced once
finalized."

audience is well equipped to “read between the lines”. Aren’t we guys?
The much controversial international adult star has already created an
uproar in our Hindi film industry, so much so, that even before her film
(Jism 2) hits the big screen, movie lovers would have done their share
of research and put their curiosity to rest – some with great
expectations and the rest, with preset notions. Phew!
It all began when Sunny entered controversial reality show Bigg Boss 5
and left small screen viewers wondering and guessing about her true
identity (read porn star). And then there were rumours that she might be
the new ‘it’ girl in Bollywood, which were followed by official news
that she has signed Jism 2 under Bhatt banner. Thereafter, she’s been
quite active on micro blogging site twitter and she’s even been posting
her private photos on the site to please her burgeoning (or already
existing) fan following, specially in India.
What surprises me even more is how school and college students and
even middle-aged men, who had never heard of this international star,
went that extra mile to know more about her on the internet. Not only
men, even women wanted to know about this latest hot entrant that men
were drooling over. If this wasn’t enough, Sunny’s porn videos on
YouTube became popular overnight among Indian viewers. And the rest as
they say is history.
I’m sure you’d remember when one of the leading TV actors was quoted
saying in an interview, “She (Sunny) is ruining the psyche of
12-year-old boys in India, who are now doing Google search on her after
reading about her pornographic escapades and seeing her on television.
Hindi film producers should think 100 times before considering Sunny.
Tomorrow she may accuse them of sexual harassment for shaking hands with
her! She only wants publicity.”
All said and done, the point here is, are Indians really ready to
watch a porn star in a Bollywood flick? Is it sheer excitement to
witness this paradigm shift in Bollywood? Or is it time Bollywood
audiences get exposed to such bolder cinema? I’m not saying there have
been no bold movies made in the past or we have not seen sex scenes in
Bollywood films but having an acclaimed porn star performing those acts
is going to be a different ball game altogether.

has also signed Sunny for a sequel to her spooky horror flick Ragini
MMS. Well, it looks like film making is all about taking huge risks. And
Indian filmmakers indeed have shown this courage to cast a porn star in
their films. Now whether it would pay off or go for a toss, only time

‘she isn’t doing any item song for any upcoming film’.
Off late, gossipmongers would doing the rounds that Sunny Leone would
be seen shaking her booties in an item number in Kannada film ‘Prem
Adda’. But even before movie buffs could imagine what the song would
look like, Sunny posted on twitter saying, “For all the rumors, the only
2 movies I have signed to shoot this year are Jism 2 and Ragini.
NOTHING ELSE… Don’t believe what you read. Including NO plans for any
ITEM NUMBERS as of yet.”
Oops, all hopes of Sunny Leone fans got nipped in the bud!!!

Though it makes me wonder what exactly was running through Sunny
Leone’s mind when she tweeted this. Is the infamous adult star who
became a household name ever since she appeared on controversial reality
show Bigg Boss really too comfortable doing an item number? Or does she
think being an item girl won’t really gel well with her porn star
image?
Well, Sunny, if that’s the case, mind you, audiences would still
judge you by your ‘REAL IDENTITY’ and the kind of role that you have
chosen for your big dream debut. So saying a strong NO to an item number
would really help you in anyway.
Also, Sunny’s Jism co-star Randeep Hooda tweeted, “Just finished a
major love making scene for @Jism2. Extreme, exhausting and
exhilarating. Hope we can turn people “on” all over with it.” Now, if
Sunny Leone has no inhibitions doing such scenes for her very first film
in Bollywood, then why such no-no attitude for item number?
Looking at the other side of the story, there also have been reports
that Sunny Leone, who had first agreed to do this item song, cancelled
it later because of the contract she signed with Pooja Bhatt stating
that neither would she do any film nor she would make any public
appearance till Jism 2 releases. Well, I’m not too sure whether it’s
actually the date and clause issue or something else that holding back
Sunny Leone from performing this item number. Whatever, movie buffs are
still waiting to see the over hyped porn star making a mark in
Bollywood.
